After growing up in the Wauwatosa and Milwaukee areas, Todd and Kim Prudlow and their four children moved to Brookfield in 2001. In 1995, Todd earned a degree from Marquette University in mechanical engineering. Todd always had a love of the home-building process after helping his father and brothers with projects around his parent’s home and working construction jobs while in school on summer breaks. After a short time working as an engineer, he followed his desire to be in the construction field. This led to several years of working for custom home builders both in Michigan and Wisconsin before successfully striking out on his own. While he appreciated the knowledge he gained from his previous work, his focus on detail and the desire to provide customers a better-built home at a fair and honest price led him to launch HoneyCreek Homes, LLC in 2003. HoneyCreek Homes, LLC strives to provide this by offering an “open book” approach to new home construction and remodeling.
